in college, i used to be really infatuated with this guy who loved francis ford coppola. he loved cinema and carried himself in this way that was extremely kind, but pretentious, and confusing, and charming. it was a strange crush because deep down i knew he was never going to like me the way i wanted him to.
still, i was completely taken by him. i loved watching him ride his bike to the coffee shop, or to class in these tiny blue shorts that he wore sometimes. everything about him felt so cinematic to me back then (maybe it still does).
inspired by those little blue shorts and that strange kind of crush that makes someone feel larger than life for no real reason at all.
